Microsoft Outlook 97

  1. From the Tools menu, select "Services."
  2. Click "Add" and then click "OK."
  3. In the Available Information Services box, click "Internet Email."
  4. Click on the "General" tab.
  5. Type a name for your new Internet email account (for example, "WebAJM Mail").
  6. Enter your name.
  7. Enter your WebAJM Mail address (for example, "user@webajm.com or user@yourdomain.com").
  8. Click the "Server" tab.
  9. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) box, enter "webajm.com or yourdomain.com"
  10. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box, enter "webajm.com or yourdomain.com"
  11. In the Account Name box, enter your WebAJM Mail address ("user@webajm.com or user@yourdomain.com").
  12. In the Password box, enter your password.
  13. Check "Remember Password" if you do not want Outlook to prompt you for your password each time you check your mail.
  14. Do not check the boxes labeled "Log on using Secure..." or "My server requires authentication."
  15. Click "OK."


Microsoft Outlook 98 and 2000

  1. From the Tools menu, select "Accounts." If you do not see "Accounts," place your cursor over the two arrows at the bottom of the list to display more choices.
  2. Click the "Add" button.
  3. From the Add menu, click "Mail."
  4. Type your name as you would like it to appear when you send a message in the Display name box and click "Next."
  5. In the Email Address box, enter your E-Mail address (for example, "user@yourdomain.com") and click "Next."
  6. In the box labeled "My incoming mail server is a..." select "POP3" server.
  7. In the Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server box, type ("yourdomain.com")
  8. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type ("yourdomain.com")
  9. Click "Next."
  10. In the Account Name box, enter your WebAJM Mail name ("user@yourdomain.com").
  11. In the Password box, enter your password.
  12. Do not check "Log On Using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)."
  13. Click "Next."
  14. Type a name for your new Internet email account (for example, "yourdomain" Mail).
  15. Click "Finish."

Outlook Express (IE 5)
  1. From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts."
  2. Select the "Mail" tab.
  3. Click the "Add" button.
  4. From the Add menu, click "Mail."
  5. In the text box labeled Display Name, type your name and click "Next."
  6. In the Email Address box, type your E-Mail address ("user@yourdomain.com") and click "Next."
  7. Select "POP3" to answer the question "My incoming mail server is a…."
  8. In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server box, type "yourdomain.com"
  9. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type "yourdomain.com"
  10. Click "Next."
  11. In the Account Name box, type your Mail address ("user@yourdomain.com").
  12. In the Password box, type your E-Mail Password.
  13. If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, check the "Remember password" box.
  14. Do not check the "Log on using secure password" box.
  15. Click "Next."
  16. Click "Finish."

 

Netscape Messenger (Versions 4.5, 4.61, and 4.7)

Important: Before you delete your current settings, make sure you write them down so you can check email from that account after you make these changes. Netscape allows you to specify only one POP server and one SMTP server at a time.

  1. From the Edit menu on the toolbar, select "Preferences."
  2. Under the Mail & Newsgroups category on the left, select "Mail Servers." If you do not see "Mail Servers," click the plus sign (+) to display more categories.
  3. Click "Add" to display the Mail Server Properties dialog box.
  4. In the Server name box, type "pop.mail.WebAJM.com."
  5. Under Server Type, click the drop-down list and select "POP3 Server."
  6. Under User Name, type your WebAJM Mail address ("user@WebAJM.com or user@yourdomain.com").
  7. Check "Remember password" so you don't have to re-enter your password each time you start Messenger. You will be prompted for your password initially.
  8. If you want to keep messages in your WebAJM Mail account once they are retrieved, select the "POP" tab and check the box labeled "Leave messages on server."
  9. Click "OK."
  10. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type "WebAJM.com or yourdomain.com"
  11. In the Outgoing mail server user name box, type your WebAJM Mail address "WebAJM.com or yourdomain.com"
  12. Click "OK."
  13. Under the Mail & Newsgroups category on the left, select "Identity."
  14. In the Email Address box, type your WebAJM Mail address ("user@WebAJM.com or user@yourdomain.com").
  15. Click "OK."

 

Netscape Messenger (Versions 4.05-4.08)
  1. From the Edit pull-down menu, select "Preferences."
  2. Under the Mail & Groups category on the left, select "Mail Server." If you do not see "Mail Server," click the plus sign (+) to display more categories.
  3. In the Mail server user name box, type your WebAJM Mail address ("user@WebAJM.com or user@yourdomain.com").
  4. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type "WebAJM.com or yourdomain.com"
  5. In the Incoming mail server box type "WebAJM.com or yourdomain.com"
  6. In the section labeled Mail Server Type, select "POP3."
  7. If you want to delete the messages in your WebAJM Mail account once they are retrieved, do not check the box labeled "Leave messages on server after retrieval."
  8. Click on "More Options."
  9. At the top of the window you will see a space for Mail Directory. This indicates the location where mail will be stored on your hard drive. You may keep the directory suggested by Netscape or select one of your own.
  10. The "Check for Mail" line may be configured as you like. If you do not want to have Netscape continuously check your WebAJM Mail, leave the box unchecked.
  11. If you want Netscape Mail to remember your password, check the box labeled "Remember my mail password." You will be prompted for your password initially. When prompted, enter your WebAJM Mail password.
  12. Click "OK."
  13. Under the Mail & Groups category on the left, select "Identity."
  14. In the Email Address box, type your WebAJM Mail address ("user@WebAJM.com or user@yourdomain.com").
  15. Click "OK."
